Split Pea Soup with Smoked Ham and Swiss Chard

Warm comfort food for cool fall days. Unlike some greens, the mild flavor of the chard does not overpower the soup.

Smoked ham sounds good, but my problem is the pea ingredient. I guess, in my mind I could eat this and it wouldn't give my system too much uric acid :-)

Looks good. I am sure it tastes good as well.
